Frozen Hot Chocolate

Ah. The month of August.
Besides the other very exciting things happening this month (hint: my Birhtday!), Second Cup has finally begun featuring their Frozen Hot Chocolate for $2 every Wednesday.

Over the past two months, the gang and I have been treated to $2 Chillattes, Fruizzis, and Tiamos — frozen beverages along the lines of Tim Horton’s Iced Capuccinos.

But as a fickle lover of hot chocolate, I was desperately awaiting the opportunity to sample this otherwise $4+ treat. To maximize my pleasure, our local coffee expert and fellow University of Waterloo student recommended chocolate sprinkles and cream.

Every one of the six different chocolate flavours saturated my mouth like no other candy, chocolate bar, or frozen drink has. Even though it really didn’t taste like frozen hot chocolate, it sure passed my taste-bud test. I highly recommend it — well, at least at this price!

What about all those bike rides, games of pool and other activities you partake of, what about them??? time to get your act together
